Why Engage in Psychotherapy?

People seek therapy for different reasons. Some are hoping for relief from specific problems such as depression, anxiety or relationship difficulties. Others may have a general sense of not feeling as happy as they imagine they could and would like help understanding this feeling.

 

In psychotherapy we engage in a process of self discovery in which people come to feel more in touch with themselves. This often leads to relief from symptoms and a deeper connection with oneself and others.
